I was looking at the new low profile wing mount for the EB 48 and was going to put one on my ET as well, and saw that it says not recommended for the the ET. Does anyone know why you they wouldn't recommend this? I feel like more adjustment options for different situations is always good despite buggy or truggy? Is the low profile wing mount less durable?

Thanks for posting that up for me man - I really appreciate it! :nod

p.s. What screw are you using there to mount the linkage to the horn?
No issues at all. I've run this setup on my EB, ET & SCT. I've done things to the SCT that would qualify as war crimes in some countries.

I'm using a 3mm flat head screw that is just long enough to engage the nyloc nut. Not sure if it is a kit part, but it probably is.

Can someone tell me if these are the correct part numbers for the et48 shock rebuild and also the wheels hexes I need in order to run badlands on proline desperado wheels? The rebuild kit says it is for eb48 and sct10 but doesn't say et48 on it. I need to know ASAP thanks...
Tkt5071c
Tkr6009

I am also wondering should I be running a steel spur gear on the center diff? And what is that part number?

TKR5115 is the steel spur you don't have to run one.

Yes that's the shock kit

Why do you need new hubs? But yes those will work if you want +2mm oh maybe for clearance.

The wing will most likely contact the rear tires under full compression if you use the low one. Thats my guess.

Quick question.. During a race when I launch from a jump and give it a bit of throttle to make the jump I hear a grinding type noise that I do not hear with my buggy. Ive heard this before on other truggies and cant figure out what it is. It is loud and very noticeable and sounds like youre shredding the spur but that's not the case.

Thanks

Thanks that makes sense. I ordered one for the buggy, ill probally throw it on the truggy first just to check it out and see.

You need to check your rear diff, you may have it shimmed too loose and it may be skipping.

Thank you. Yea I guess in order to run badlands on desperados the +2mm hexes are required because the hex on the wheels are a little deeper than the stock hex width therefore the face of the wheel hex will bottom out on the hub before bottoming out on the wheel hex itself. So I guess the +2mm gives you the clearance needed to run those wheels.

Also the kit comes with green shocks. I have a full fr/rr set of pinks and front yellows. Which would be best for general use? I am using the box stock fluids (600 fr and 500 rr). And for the front shocks it says outside hole in te arm and inside hole on tower... For the outside hole on the arm do I use the upper or lower hole? There are 2 outside holes.

If it's not your diff., check the front center driveshaft if it's straight, a friend of mine had the same sound you described and the center shaft was bend.

Here are some shots of my Proline Enforcer body at the Electric Nationals. The body felt great and the additional space on the sides from the nitro body was not a problem.

Upper hole. The shock end will not fit correctly nor was it designed to fit into the lower hole.

Why 90% of ET48s doesn't use antenna over the body?
Is it ok to not use it?
