Hi,
here some pics from my build. Was fun so far; the shocks are not totally air less, I will redo them one day. The bladders look a bit too flat.
I tried some silicone stuff to seal the diffs, dunno if that works out.
Center Diff: I changed the shim to a thinner shim, so the diffs runs smoother.
I really like the body, the slim style and the narrow, flat design.
I don't understand why other brands have the ESC on the CD, and stuff like that.

done, I took white for the body, white beauty
I've put the ESC to the back as the motor measures 80mm.
I took 3m repair tape, which is quite thick, to improve the body. Worked well to fix my other damaged bodies (RC-Bodies...)

Quick question.. During a race when I launch from a jump and give it a bit of throttle to make the jump I hear a grinding type noise that I do not hear with my buggy. Ive heard this before on other truggies and cant figure out what it is. It is loud and very noticeable and sounds like youre shredding the spur but that's not the case.
Thanks
Thanks
I have the same issue and it sounds like it is the rear diff, probably needs to be reshimmed, but just thought I would see if I can learn from your experience before I start troubleshooting!
Thanks for any responses..

wet from a mugen 6r eco to the tekno 48.3. Got in on friday and was out for first run on sunday. Fast and easy build.
On the mugen i never had enough steering for me personally. Dont get me wrong, i had massaged it to where it was very easy to drive and quick. Just got tired of hassle of replacing front lower arms.
The tekno arms sure do look beefy! And holy turn in batman. I had to dial out some of it.
Some changes i made to stock setup that fit my driving style. I am more of less aggressive driver that does well more though consistance laps.
1. Went from 3 to 3.5 degrees toe. track was slicker, and dry and this helped.
2. moved the front camber link down one hole to help take out some of the turn in. just made the truck more stable going in on looser track.
3. moved the rear camber link out on the hub making the truck a little lazier in the corners. This is more of fitting of my driving style.
I will be messing with rear setup a little more next week. i feel it could settle just a little quicker on landings. maybe oil or shock position. i will test it out.
