Tamiya mini cooper
nice build Sakadachi!
I have not driven the FWD Sabre mini, but do own a 4WD Sabre mini. Speaking for the 4WD version it handles incredibly well as good as a full size touring car. I can whip that little car around the tightest corners at near full throttle and at worst the tires may slip a tad ..it just hugs the road so well. Its a fun little car.
Here are a few photos of mine,
I just upgraded the servo and receiver (to match my new controller), so the wiring is still a mess.

Took a while, but I got the body posts to fit the Tamiya Rover Mini body without drilling new holes in the body.

Front required about 5mm of spacing. I drilled the bottom hole on the Sabre body post.
My ride height is pretty high so no issue of upper arms hitting the bottom of the posts when
the chassis bottoms out.

The rear took some thinking...Used my M-Four's body post at one of the rear hole locations
on the Sabre, then drilled 2 new holes through the chassis as the post has 2 mounting holes
each. Then used my HPI CupRacer extension to lengthen the post.
The M-Four's transponder bracket also acts as a brace.

Regardless, the fitment is perfect, no rubbing.
Next up, I need to figure out what to do with the bumper..
