So, for me, black fronts in combination with grey rears feels nicely balanced, grippy enough to be comfortable, and yet and free enough to be competitively fast. And it sure doesn't hurt that the black/grey family of rubber seems much less prone to picking up carpet fuzz off the track, so the balance stays pretty much the same from the beginning to the end of each run.
Thanks, pretty much what I was thinking. I love very much the 2xblu and blu combinaison, I find the balance of the car perfect.

I have try black/greylow on a high grip day and it's was ok. I struggle in the last 2 minutes.

Thanks
Alex

That looks like a Team Bomber Body. It's a lot like an AMR, but a little more nimble. We sell them over at Reflex.

Yeah, #5 is Team Bomber's older body style. I quite liked it, especially for asphalt. However, that's the older version.
They've just released a new body.. Looks cool!

Cristian I spotted some of your parts at a few hobby shops .

In case anyone is looking to get into 1/12 for super cheap, I am officially getting out of the class (no time... no money... buying a house... and am broke...) I am getting rid of a 1/12 setup that is really ready to go including bodies, a box with dozens of front end spares, electronics, etc...

http://www.rctech.net/forum/r-c-item...crc-parts.html

Figure if anyone is lurking and wanting to get into 1/12 this is a super cheap entry.

That is custom chassis not an Xray chassis. There are a few out there but I'm not sure it is being sold commercially.

I have an earlier version of the car, mine uses TOP suspension and pod plates. The wires aren't bound up at all and the pod moves very freely with TQ 16ga wire.
