LiFe cut off?

That's the same battery I bought. Good to know it basically lasts forever. lol

I've always ran a LiPo and never ever had any issues, can I ask why you would not prefer a LiPo?

Just don't understand. We have to put our batteries for our cars down to storage after every use. Leaving them fully charged or empty can cause problems like puffing and at worse fires. In a transmitter a battery can stay near full charged for weeks or even months.

Performance due high currents is the answer. Low current devices do not work less if the battery is getting weak.....

Good observation. This puzzles me too sometimes. I think though that you need to treat different packs differently. I always leave my car batteries (espacially race packs) in storage as i need to take the most out of them. However i do not treat transmitter packs the same way because they do not require high inputs and are charged less frequently. Receiver packs stand somewhat in the middle.

Think I understand. So because a transmitter draws alot less current then a car, a lipo will be alot more stable?

Life batteries are safer than lipo's But I believe A li-fe battery does not have the punch of a lipo. And li-fe batteries are heavier than lipo with the same cell count. If you are looking for a battery with a high burst rate a lipo is better. li-fe batteries are great for receiver batteries they do not require a Voltage regulator.

LiFe batteries are only rated at 6.6 volts where as LiPo are 7.4 volts.
