What's the difference between the #9054 vs 9050 .12 Picco?

Thanks Dan> Did you, and everybody else break in these engines according to the manual? Seems WAY to easy! Love the looks of all the components. Wasn't too happy putting the cinch bolt together...wth?

Yes pretty much. These break in super easy. I do 2 tanks full open throttle very rich on the bench followed by about 20 minutes gradually leaning so that at the 20 minute mark I'm about 90% full race speed. Run like this for another 20 minutes before finally tuning to full race tune. My old novarossi's used to take at least double this and a full race meeting to become fully broken in.

Pleasure. I'm sure you'll get great performance from these. Just keep a close eye on the plug to confirm you're running right. The 12's have a habit of hiding lean mixtures when running on track so keep checking the plug each run.

For the LSN, half a turn out from flush
For the HSN, 2.5 turns out from all the way in.

You mean the needle position? For race the LSN is very similar maybe a couple of hours leaner but not more than that. Main needle maybe 3 more hours, but all this depends on the type of track traction available etc. The engine needs to rev nice and crispy and always smoking. If the performance decreses after a few laps it means is too lean.

For break in, LSN you don't move it, only the HSN. In this case will be from half to 1 full turn. You need to make sure the engine is extremely rich so you have the proper lubrication under this process.

Also a lot depends of the fuels. Some have more or less oil content so the tuning changes a little bit

What motor you are running? reason i am asking is because some motors have a domed pistons and other are flat. Depending on that the shimming is different
