No 'official' word yet. I have a hunch that the new body is simply a bigger version of this Protoform car...

What body right now that is "common" is considered the most durable and good handling one too?

There is no such animal. As you can see from this sampling at the Ft. Wayne race, there were only a couple repeats.

I only ran the green McAllister Jaguar for one heat, I ran the McAllister Riley DP the most. So there were three of them.

Looks sort of like it could be something that looks like a MP4-12c...but could be wrong.

Okay maybe I should clarify, I am thinking a long the lines like in USVTA that the parma bodies take a better beating than the HPI ones but handle reasonably well for what they are.

Something like that.

anything with a more rounded front end will take a better beating. the audi and 350z seems to hold up good. I've heard the new Camaro doesn't. it depends on how much stuff you want to run into I guess.

For a body that takes a beating and handles very well, you can't beat these McAllister GT Prototype bodies.

I've been curious about that wildcat body to a while. Anyone run one?

I have been very happy with the McAllister Corvette GT Prototype. It looks good, handles fine, and has taken quite a bit of abuse. But it would be nicer if the wing that comes with it were easier to move around-- right now I adjust the aero balance with a small Gurney flap.

You might want to be careful about that one. I think Rob&Company want the body to be of a car that actually existed in 1:1, and I don't think the Wildcat qualifies. Maybe I'm wrong?

EDIT: I'll post my own correction:

Hi Guys,

New to USGT but I have read most if not all of this thread. I thought you guys might like some pics of my ride. Xray T4-'14 with a 190mm GT2 C6 vette body.

I have only run it once but so far I LIKE IT!

From the front:

Those pics were from before I installed the wing. OF course the clear wing doesn't change the look all that much.

I just picked up a T4 '14 to run USGT too. I'm almost ready to hit the track, I just need to build the car, install electronics, and paint the body.
