#3: sidewview.
I just weighed my new car: 1222grams, with full size tires. I think I might install a smaller servo, to get the weight down even further. But that will have to wait till my first paychecks comes in . This is actually my last day off, between the end of my studies, and my first day at my first "real" job. I'm now officially not a student anymore, but an "Ingenieur" (Somewehere between a "Bachelor" and a "Master" in international terms) in elctronics.

But very well, back on the weight: my old car weighed in at 1303grams with the same motor, body and tires.
I can also lose some weight by using another motor. The Peak V2 is somewhat heavy with its aluminium endbell.
A lighter ESC is also an option, but I really love my good old Novak Cyclone: it never fails me.

The response, as sarcastic as it may sound probably was a call out. So with that...I guess you can not take joke. Good luck on life. Maybe youll not have to be so defensive in the future.
Ok, you two break it UP! Bounty Hunter. Crashby was not talking about cheating by having his car underweight.

Crashby, we'll have no questioning of a person's literacy level.

This thread is about 10th scale pan cars. If you two have a beef, take it offline.

Anyway, Im surprised none of the SoCal tracks havent landed a ROAR onroad national the last couple years. I bet if SoCal got the onroad nationals...There would be an absolute TON on Pro10 racers...(and ROAR ends up with a bit of egg on their face again as the Pro10 racers show that their class is FAR from dead)

Our problem with getting a ROAR Nationals in Southern Cal is down mostly to a lack of tracks looking to host one. Hot Rod’s did a good job with the NORRCA Nats. but that was only 120ish total entries and I don’t see them having the facility for many more. SoCal would loose money on a ROAR Nat. since they’d have to give up five nights worth of club racing to host one. Rev. is realistically too big although they did host in 96’. There’s a new track in Hesperia that looks like a great racing surface/layout but from the pics I’ve seen of it, they only have about 40 pits spaces and even less parking.

Hmm. that's unfortunate. The place where the Pro10s would have the best chance to showcase the fact that Pro10 isnt dead doesnt have facilities that can support that level of a race.

Hopefully the boys in FL can get a good thing going for next year in Pro10. I mean with my race coming up in May and the Onroad NAts in Oct, this could be a big opportunity to showcase this particular class

Wow... I have been looking at airline ticket prices, I can't find a round trip from LI (have to switch planes) to Tx for any less than 300 round trip....

Default New Track.

Chris from Titus raceway in Riverside is contemplating an indoor onroad track to compliment his already stellar offroad track. If he does get the space to put up the track you can be sure he'll make plenty of space for pits and the track will be dialed! They just had the Titus invitational a little while back with a good number of racers and it went very smooth.

Mine’s at 40.6-41.0 w/o transponder depending on tire size. I also have a “full-size” Airtronics 737 servo so if I went to something like a Futaba 9602, I would drop under 40oz.

Min. weight rule in Europe that Holland runs under is 42.3 ounces, FWIW.
Just to make sure that everyone is weighing their cars the same. The weight is to include the painted body, transponder and body clips. Right?

I got my RC10L2 down to 41.4.
