Finally found the combination of tires that worked for a medium grip outdoor asphalt track was the tcs hard front and pit 572 rears(winter). Ride R1 rears(in summer time) only thing held up this last summer. Pits would only last about 2 minutes and than felt real loose/sloppy

It does appear the rear pod balance has been fixed and widened to resemble a more standard Tamiya style pod, the old pod apart from being too narrow was that it is way out of balance with the placement of the motor too far to one side...

Pictures above are only showing some of the Version 2....front end will be re-designed. Steering rework, chassis re-design and rear 7075 lower plate...more axle changes. very new car....

Estimate time....May 2015.

Some parts in testing. In time we are know new parts.
Solara, if You need tester of those parts... send pm!

PS. Just asking: Solara are You testing alu main chassis? What's your opinion about that?

I found nothing wrong with the front end. But i guess If you redesign the rear pod might as well go all the way.
How much will interchange parts wise between SP-1 and SP-1v2?
Just want to try the different more balanced rear pod and see what the differences are.
