they're the best built cars I've personally owned! They handle like and turn like no other! Let me know if you have any questions.

I will definitely let you know if I have questions, thanks for the offer. This will be my first truggy in 9 years. Things have changed drastically since then. Thanks again for the offer to help!

This was, by light years, the easiest build of all of my RCs. I'm so loving my ET! I have a Tacon 21 0 in it for the time being. I'm going to put a Hobbywing 1800kV Xerun 150A combo in it to race with. Until then, I'm going to enjoy this truggy. It's my favorite!

Are the shock caps plastic or aluminum in the kit? I'm looking at ordering one and I'm trying to build my list of everything I need so I can get it all at once. Thanks for your help.

Well I broke my front shock tower today. Kind if an odd break, broke off one ear and didn't even have a crash. Just driving around the yard with my son and noticed one side drooping down. Looks like it could have just been a flaw in the aluminum. Ill post pics later are there any carbon towers available yet?

No Carbons, IMO stay with the aluminum.

I broke a aluminum one on the front of my EB the same way. I crashed though. Has been fine ever since.

Hey everyone. I tried to throw some monster truck trenchers on my et48 for some fun. They were 17mm but when tightened down they would not turn. Anyone have any ideas of why these did not fit? The guys at my LHS said 17mm is 17mm (obviously this is not true). And also would you guys know of any monster truck wheels that will fit?

Thanks very much, I know this isn't really what most people run on their truggy but again it is just for some fun.

My Pro-Line Desperado 3.8" 17mm 1/2" offset wheels have a deeper hex than dish wheels. I noticed they rubbed a little bit on the wheel hubs, but it didn't cause them to not turn. They have plenty of clearance around the suspension. Did you over tighten the wheels?

I wouldn't say I over tightened them. I mean I tightened them as much as I do my normal truggy wheels. I couldn't find the offset on them on the package so maybe that's it.

I believe Overkill is right, the Pro-Line wheels probably have a deeper hex than most of the race wheels out there. Your best solution is to buy some wider hexes, there's a +1mm and +2mm option available, part numbers TKR5071B and TKR5701C respectively. Since you're using them for fun I'd buy the +2's to ensure the wheels are far enough away from the hubs to not cause interference. You don't want to buy the +1's and have them not be wide enough and waste your money, and time.

And there you go, thanks Matt. I'll be placing an order for the +2.
