Ya.... it was a cheap $10 battery labled 3800mah but has tiny wires so doubt its half of that.

It only studders when i lay down on the throttle. Its not the normal low throttle cogging.
It cuts in and out and the steering pulls hard to the left.
I dont know if this is normal behavior for a batterypack that is depleted or if there is an issue with the esc or something

took the car outside today with both batteries charged. The cheap 3800 lasted like 2 minutes before it started doing the cutting in and out issue.
The gens lastest about 20-25min before it started cutting in and out

That should not be happening at that voltage with a NiMh battery. Are you sure you have the ESC LVC disabled?
Try putting the lead into the steering socket on the receiver, while on the stand, and see if it does the same thing.

The car only came with a quick start guide stating how to bind and set fail safe.
I have no idea what esc exceed even uses so i cant look into how to disable low voltage cutoff.

I informed the seller of the issue and his tech dept said it sounded like a faulty esc so are sending me a replacement esc. Was just trying to pinpoint the problem while i wait for the esc. If this is not normal behavior at 7.7v then i guess ill just swap the esc and hope that solves it.
