sick of LRP!

I didn't talk to them yet but lost my 3rd lrp flow works team yesterday. All 3 , first i lose all dragbrake, then they cook the motor. I m running stock buggy 17.5 blinky with a reedy, tekin, and trinity. All 3 motors are burnt along with the esc's. Never again will I spend a dime on lrp. I dont care if their customer service rep drives to my house and gives me a new one with a handy! I refuse to put one in my car ever again. A good friend at the track said "LRP= Low reliability products!" I will now welcome myself to the world of hobbywing. Thank you for listening to me vent.
I was of the same opinion as you after purchasing a Flow team works. It cogged, spluttered, had runaways, glitches, random full throttle and other weird stuff. Upgraded the firmware every time it came out hoping it would fix the issues with it to no avail. I finally figured out the problem was my radio and receiver.
After changing away from Spektrum DSM the Flow worked perfectly, all problems gone, I got my confidence back with the ESC and now run it in my mod car. No problems since. DSM2 worked fine as well, just early DSM caused problems.

I had the same problem with LRP speedies a while back and since then have been using Hobby Wing, Speed Passion and TrackStar, all excellent speedies. The only problem with Hobby Wing and SP is if something goes wrong they are just as difficult if not more so to deal with than LRP, but with TrackStar if something goes wrong you just lodge an RMA on the HobbyKing website and post a video of what is going wrong and they will either credit you back or send you a new one. I had a problem with one of their speedies where they got a bad batch and they replaced it 3 times for me on the third round I got it in two days from the local warehouse. Things are bound to go wrong with this sort of technology when it is constantly being bounced around inside a bit of plastic and carbon fibre, but at least some companies stand by their stuff.
