Lance,

Just a little update/ good praise for you.

Got about 7 tanks at idle thru the Modded Nova P5 the past week. Hit the track yesterday for the first time in 2 months. Ran a couple tanks thru in practice, still pretty rich and just enough throttle to clean it out. Went out for the first heat and to my surprise, set the TQ pace but 2 laps. Track was wet and sticky with plenty of traction. Came out for heat 2 and ran 2nd, just loosing out on my TQ run by 3 seconds but still running rich coming off at 210* smoking like a freight train.
By the 3rd heat, the TQ guy was going thru his truck and didn't run, so I used it to tune the motor, running about 4 laps then bringing it in for checks and adjustment. Finished that round running still slightly rich and about 230-240* with plenty of power to spare.

At the break, I went out to test some tires and verify my tuning. Everything was great. Getting ready to fire off for the main and NO STEERING!!!!! WTF. 10 minutes ago everything was great. So I grabbed my buggy and thrashed the radio tray out. The main started, and I was just getting everything back together. Quick adjustments to the servos and I was off, but it was 7 minutes into a 25 minute race. Running consistant and conservative, just to run fuel thru the motor, I rallied back for a 7th place finish while running the fast lap in the main and an amazing 9 minutes on stops. Came off the track and motor was purring like a kitten, still a little rich and temps around 230*.

All in all, mission accomplished. 15+ tanks thru, great power, steady idle ( I timed it and it idled for 10 minutes and then drove away). Couldnt be happier. Now just to get a decent pipe for it and lean it out.

Thanks Lance

Lance do you have any experience with the Picco 5TR or 3TZ with the OS 2060 and 2090 pipes?
