The 2014 Wide Bay Weekender is a multi-class off-road race event hosted by Wide Bay RC radio control club. The track can be found at the Maryborough Showgrounds Complex. The showground facilities include camping facilities, toilets, showers and power readily available.

The 2014 Wide Bay Weekender is a 2 day race schedule kicking off at Lunchtime Saturday 6th September, with racing going into the evening. Sit back after the evening and enjoy the company of everyone, Camping is available at the track for those travelling from out of town. Racing will resume Sunday morning finishing at around 2pm.

Marshalling Every Entrant must provide a marshal (themselves or nominated person)

Trackside Camping $20 per night per site
-Can arrive Friday

-240v Power available (may need an extension lead depending on location camping)

**Updates on the Wide Bay Weekender**
PLEASE READ

1. After Discussion with a number of people, it has been decided that in keeping with fairness to all, the track will not be open for practice on Friday evening. The track will not open until Saturday morning practice, which at the moment is scheduled for 9:30am start.

2. For those unsure of the camping arrangements. All camping fees are to paid to Wide Bay RC along with your nomination fee. We will pass your camping fees on as a single payment to the Showgrounds Complex. This makes it easier for everyone, you pay only 1 fee, the showgrounds don't have to organise with lots of people.

3. For nominations, we need you to fill out the online nomination form(or get someone to fill it out for you), you can pay via paypal or direct deposit. We would much prefer to not be taking nomination fees on the day. If you cannot avoid this please contact us directly.
