i have scienced the heck out of all this.. lots of testing and comparing and came up with 2 version.. one for mod one for stock " IR reading"
this is what i do for work so why not make the most sickest cable with the best parts..no banana plugs they are not good 2mm ones are fine for balance.. silver solder with nitrogen injection gives me the best power current curve and low IR cable silver plated.:nod

you should sell those cables for like 50 bucks each. they are superb as is all your wiring work you have shown on these forums.
i used to use those 4mm castle plugs i see you have in pic, but prefer protek 4mm because they hold better in the battery. have you done ir testing with them. i also bought some silver plated plugs i think TQ, but kept going back to proteks. what silver plated are u using. thanks imarky

iMarky,
What solder are you using? We use Kester products at my work where we make aircraft harnesses and electronics. I like Cardas quad-eutectic at home. I became aware of it because it is popular with audiophiles who have all kind of crazy ideas about solder.

Why do I think the balance extension cabled from epbuddy are better than the one from hobbyking?
Because when I tried to use the hobbyking ones I kept getting charger errors telling me the balancer wasn't connected. Their connectors just don't "connect" reliably. I've never had a problem with the epbuddy ones.
