What is slow? Just cause you buy a $30 4s doesn't mean you'll run 90MPH. Need way more info to help OP.

What brand 4s?

What kind of 4s?

If your asking how to check I'm sure it's stock gearing. I'm a noob too but what you posted was like saying my skate shoes don't grip well. Way too many variables to help you out. Post as much as you can about your truck and lipos

This. Heck even a locked up bearing or 2 can cause lots of issues.

Without knowing your gearing, we can't help you. If you're 5 teeth too low for that truck/motor, it's going to be slow.

Your supposed to have 30mm of clearence between the chassis and the ground.

Btw , your rear bumper is assembled wrong . The part that screws to the bumper mounts is upside down. The diagnal "bar" is supposed to be on top. What you have now is making the bumper lower than its supposed to be . Download the manual and you will see what I am talking about.

You have to figure out how many teeth are on the spur gear( the big one) and how many on little one ( pinion gear). Then go the your local hobby shop and buy a bigger pinion and a smaller spur gear. The gear ratio is 4.30 to 1. Team associated says your spur is a 46 and pinion 17

Looks like it has .2 arms on it. So you should be looking at SC8.2e springs. As far as gearing, you dont need to change the spur gear. If you went with what you posted it would be really close to going up 2 teeth on the pinion. Does it have good power, just no top speed?

i believe it does have .2 arms, the kits they used are 89342/89350, the back of the kits say brown springs are 89349/89294 and thats wat the sc82e manual says so they are the correct springs??

ya has power just no top speed.
i see two types of pinion gears - do i need 5mm bore or reg?

so i updated my pics. seems the rear bumper was upside down by the previous person.

sc8 specs say front 17mm and rear 9mm for the gap between collar and the shock.
sc82e specs say front 14mm and rear 5mm for the gap between collar and the shock.

im trying to do this but when i turn collar the entire assembly just spins with the spring what do i have to hold down?

also what is the ride height from ground to chassis?

its still odd why the rear springs look burgundy?
