Im gonna put my to work Saturday and I will report back. Its got big shoes to fill because I have a couple Killshots that are ridiculously fast. Im sure it wont disappoint. So far the feedback from the rest of the offroad team has been very positive.

+1 that's the best way to check amp draw. Way to many variables in the way Erik does it. Plus ten seems way high to me. But I also free rev with no pinion installed. Also with checking free revs you want to do it just long enough for the number to stabilize on the meter. It will only take a few seconds.

I received my motor just in time today to run the races. About 3 minutes in the car shut off. I put the car on the bench, when I have it throttle I could hear the motor making a noise but it wouldn't move. If I moved the wheels to help it along it wold run but it sounded awful. I tried 2 different sensor wires but eventually had to pull the motor and put my Mach 2 back in. Gonna call Tower tomorrow to see what I need to do.

Timing was at 40 degrees. I think stock it was set to 30. I am assuming no timing is built into this motor?

Mine started clogging right away. Put my Reedy back in and everything worked fine. I thnk it's a faulty sensor board on mine. I tried calling them (sales phone number) but got no answer. Does anyone know a different number to see if they will be able to replace mine?
