Modded the pistons with a file in the rear and found I had a bent shaft
With out the mode I was at 30wt after I am at 35 wt

But I think I will lower the wt all around by 5wt and go softer on the springs

I used Castrol LS90 in both diffs (rear diff needs LS90 while front diff can use any gear oil, so many people will use the same oil in both diffs).Gearbox oil choice depends on climate. In a cold climate, you can't go past the Castrol VMX-M (75/85) as mentioned above because the H150F gearbox baulks at cold shifts with thicker gearoils. If you spend all your time in the tropics, then other factory spec (75/90) oils are OK.

I'v been running the K springs for several days now.
(yellow front & white rear)

I was happy with the K spring, they perform great.

Now back to Ae springs...

Starting with the red front & green rear.

Will also go back try Ae blue front again also.

guys what is everyone doing about ball cups poping off. I have tried the RPM cups but I always seem to pop a cup at the worst times, and it is driving me crazy. . . .

Mupchu

Use to have same problem , old Rpm cups..

Thought about switching over to B5 cups & studs ...

Went with the low fiction instead just cuz it was inexpensive.
They fit & perform better ,even more durable then the Rpm.

So my b44.2 has been out of commission for a good couple of months now and i just recently decided i want to drive it again, so i got some parts. One of the main parts i decided to get was the j-concepts steering rack setup. Well now with that rack on, every time i turn the car to the left the ball cups for my steering linkage likes to pop off and i can not figure out why. Any help?

Question: Have you guys ever use the AE Ti-Nitride ball stud on your kit? Are they better than the stock ones? A few times while racing my rear RPM ball studs keep popping out and thought of changing the ball stud might help. RPM ball cups are great and not changing them to others. Thanks in advance. Cheers.

Are you talking about the rear ball cups? Or is the ball stud stripped out?

The coated ball studs are smoother and fit a little tighter.

Use um with the Ae low friction ball cups for the best performance.
Rpm cup will fit though..

WC - Are you talking bout the Ti-Nitride ball stud?

lee - Mistake in the question, its supposed to be the ball cups (RPM) not the ball stud. Sorry.
