Agree on set camber with set up wheels or a station is more accurate. Still think a sanity check once tyres are mounted is a good idea.
That was just to get the droop gauge to a spot that could be photographed better

Checking camber with tires on can be misleading very easily as rims are not perfectly true or have tiny differences from moulding, etc.
Camber is also a measure of the way suspension is going to work rather than how the tires sit on the car (I guess what I mean here is that camber tells you how the car is going to sit on the tires not the other way around).
Measuring things on a setup station can pinpoint problems not so evident when measuring things on the car ready to race. I quickly check everything after a run, and if the car behaved and there are no obvious issues, I leave it alone. If there are obvious problems during a run, I start checking on the bench, but if I can't see/find anything, it's setup station time.

I disconnect shocks / roll bars for downstops always have done. I only use set-up wheels to measure tweak. (I just use gauges for cambre) I have the car fully loaded with the race tyres to measure ride height.
Not raced for 2 weeks so feeling a little rusty, hopefully racing tonight though

Rather than buy two sets to get a pair of silvers I gave up and bought ride springs.

However, silvers/greens vs ride red springs, there is a difference. The Rides are more progressive, so even though the rate is similar, the feel is quite different on track. They have their place (particularly very bumpy or very low traction, IMO)... But 95% of the time on asphalt, silvers are the go.

If your struggling to find HPI Silvers, try the Schumacher Greens from the Mi5. They are the same as the Silvers, down to wire thickness, coil count, overall diameter, and length.

Has anybody tried jilles "base setup" in 17.5? Was thinking about trying it but I'm not sure if it will be too planted for stock. Anybody that has tried it or someone that can suggest changes to it to make it better for stock would be awesome

Does anyone know what springs came with the TRF418s that included additional parts? (arm, uprights, springs, swaybars).
I'm looking for the elusive HPI Silvers.. car came with a few extra springs I just don't know how close the included springs are compared to HPI Silvers.
