Default Leaky t4 diff

Hi all, I've built my t4 14 about 5-6 weeks ago and am just getting it ready for it's first run when I've noticed the rear geared diff seems to be leaking. I've built it by the instructions and am wondering if I've done something wrong or could it have a fault? I took it out cleaned it and tightened the case screws a little and it happened again! Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Leo, we have moved the tech section here: https://www.facebook.com/xrayaustralia

Sounds like you may have pinched the large black Oring. You can only use this once, if you open the case you will need to replace the Oring with a new one.

Hope that helps.

Hi mate, a lot of the guys I have spoken to here and over in the states and Europe have said to ditch the O ring. I had the same issue with my T4, and once I got rid of the O ring the leaking stopped.

I had the same problem and changed out the oring twice. The third time I noticed that oil was coming out from the case screws so I put thread lock in the screws and no more leaking.

Yes, even Hagberg don't use o-ring!
