Well I havent been happier with my RB6 on our track and now im looking at the SC6. I havent found a place to download the manual to compare parts but I was wondering if some of you can answer a few questions.

1 Does the truck use the same steering, hubs, hangers as the rb6?
2 What is the rim offset?

If someone has a pdf of the manual, I would like to get it. My email is [email protected]

Thanks a bunch
Chris

Saw one of these in action Saturday and WOW!

Granted the guy was fast he was running times not far off the 4WD guys. The think just looked sooooo planted yet would turn on a time and jumped super smooth.

Chris the manual and exploded view can be downloaded here

It does share a lot of parts with the RT6 & RB6 so it does make for parts carrying lighter

What wheels are you guys using on the SC6? When I have the standard Kyosho rims, or Slash rear rims on, without tyres, it sits at about 290mm wide, which is well inside the allowed 296mm. But, when I put tyres on, it balloons to about 300mm, which can't fit through the jig? Are some using AE +3mm rimms? I believe some scrutineers at big events will let you force it through, but need to check if someone else has this problem. I believe the top 3 at Australian nationals last year had this issue, all ran Slash rears, and all 3 were too wide, but could force it through.

marty you can adjust the front and rear track to easy get it inside the 296mm dimension using the panther slicks
you have spacers to make these adjustments on the cvd drives and front spindles
i am down tomorrow night so you can see mine if you like i think it will go through with only a light nudge

i have slash rears

I have been running my sc6 in the Short Course Showdown this weekend. I run on an indoor wet clay track running slicks, I was running D-in D-in on the rear and went to D-out D-out. This made the truck so much better in the fast corners and zero traction rolles.

I actually measured how much each adjustment was and it measured out to be about .25mm each side every time you move in or out. I was traction rolling also on same conditions and slicks and moving out a little solved the issue also. I'm amazed at how responsive the truck is to minor changes and if something is out of whack, it certainly lets me know!

Has anybody else experienced broken ball stud syndrome? I've had 3 random studs (in a week) snap clean off below the hexagon leaving the threaded part in the plastic parts. Not happy. Got titanium ones coming.

Ran my SC6 this past weekend on a medium size technical track and absolutely loved it. It is an outdoor clay/dirt(more dirt) track. I decided to run it in midmotor just to see how it goes and absolutely loved it. The only issue I had was on the quad I can usually triple it with my 17.5 SC10 all day long but with the SC6 I was either nose diving or if I gave it a little more throttle it would parachute. Running the Proline Evo body and did not have time to cut out the holes. Gonna do that and add some weights if need be. Awesome truck...was only 6 seconds behind the fast guy and I was having to double the quad...Can't wait for next week!
