Ok just had my first run on the sc6 last night. Track is packed too soil when some moisture low- medium traction. Track is a technical 90x80 track.
I put through 4 packs. All is box stock right from te kit except for the additional rear adjustable suspen holders. Inserts are set to maximum rear toe.
Truck on the scales after I built the truck was 61.9% rear weight.
I started with 10 full turns on the front shocks and none on the back. Ended with about 5 full turns on each shock front an back.
Shock fluid is 40w front and 35w.
My thoughts.
My driving style is to use barely any brakes. I'm more of a rolling type of driving style.
Truck was very planted in the straights. Entry to the corner seemed to struggle. Middle turn and exit were very impressive. Lost quite a bit of ground on the entrance though. Truck seemed to jump well but seemed to land with quite a thud. The bumps seemed to toss the truck around a little and had a hard time soaking them up.
That is what I noticed from my track time last night.
Thoughts or suggestions?

Ran mine yesterday for the first time and all I can say is what a sick truck.
Ran awesome hard packed clay used 30wt in front and 27.5wt in rear with the springs it came with yellow ft and red rear.
Rear motor best truck ever ran first time out without any adjustments needed

Need some advice on an issue with front shocks.
I have set them up as per the manual with the 2mm internal limiter and the travel length set to 27mm and I've checked the small ball end is the one I've used.
The front ride height is set at 30mm and my problem is the front springs come loose on the shocks when the front wheels are off the ground and shocks are fully extended by about 3 to 4mm.
Chhers
Not sure if i've done something wrong or if this is normal for the sc6?

Has anyone tried running the front hinge pin blocks at 30* instead of 25*? At least with my experience on the buggy, I would guess this may be the solution to front end steering I'm reading about. It should keep more weight "back" and tame down the steering a little bit.

Yeah, I have tried it. 30* decressed the entry steering into a tight corner but did help with on power steering. I did prefer the 25* overall. Guess it comes down to how tight the track is as to what is better. I'd say for a tight track 25* and 30* for larger tracks. I found adjusting epa for steering was a bit of help in fine tuning.

Are you talking about the .5mm and 1mm shims? No, i haven't experimented with those yet. Don't forget you have the caster adjustment options in the front hub carriers axle but I realise it isn't quite the same thing as changing the bulkhead angle. Maybe try sanding a 1mm shim to a wedge shape to create a little extra angle under the the bulkhead set at 25*. You might just get away with that.
