Default E Savage Shock Question

I know the e savage has the long style shock, is this really necessary? I mean couldn't i just bolt up the traxxas big bore? it looks to me like they would work, it's just going to make the truck look a lot lower in my opinion but school me if anyone knows thanks. just need some different ideas.

You can use a shorter shock. It should improve cornering. If you don't need all that suspension travel for where you typically run, or for landing really big air, then a shorter shock may provide a better driving experience. Give it a try to see if you like it.
