Forgive me if this has been posted. I've searched the forums and can't figure this out. My rx battery is fully charged as is my tx battery. Was running just fine for 5 min. then lost connection and throttle opened wide. When I turn on my rx it is in the throttle and steering are in the neutral position. I'm at a loss as to why this happening. I m using a Spektrum dx3s.

Are you using savox servos by any chance? Savox and Spektrum don't play well together.

Using the stock servos. Oh actually just tried to re-bind and it's not holding. May have a bad receiver.

Ok, just tried to re-bind with 3 other receivers I have, ng. I am puzzled. They seem to bind, however, after a few seconds of moving the servos, it looses bind again.

I plugged in a different rx pack and it seems to have fixed it. It must be time to replace the pack.

If you have a 4 AA style transmitter and try to use those NiMH batteries they will cause no end to issues with low voltage and range limits.

Look at LiFE or NI-ZN batteries instead for the transmitter if that is the case, or just use disposable batteries.

does the controller have failsafe settings?

I'm using disposable batteries on the TX. I took an RX pack from another vehicle and that seemed to resolve the issue. I noticed when I lost the bind that the power showing on the telemetry for the TX showed really low voltage. I'm replacing the RX battery pack to start.

If your carb slide has a return spring or band and the throttle is going wide open your battery may not be the problem. Even though changing the battery may make it appear to be gone the glitch can reappear if you have an intermittent short. I strongly suggest you check all the wires starting with the switch. A run away like you are describing just toasted my buddy's motor for the second time right after he put in a new and freshly charged battery. When I told him to look at his wires the switch was corroded. Also, make sure you check/ re set the fail safes on your servos.
