Ok sorry, talk to a lot of people.

On the futaba make sure you calibrate your throttle and assure you're NOT in BLS mode.

We've considered this in the past. We're still working on a few new ideas to help smooth out the 1/8 class...

Current is max at low RPM and drops of as the car gets moving. CL limiting should have no effect on top speed unless it is turned WAY down. Not sure if I can find an old electric motor dyno sheet to show the effect but you should not need this featuer due to how the motor uses power.

This kind of shows it but you have to look at the graph.

At high torque you get high amp draw and this happens at low RPM. As you increase RPM you loose torque and amp draw goes down. So basically to keep get the car moving you get high amp draw to move it. To keep it going requires less torque and power and amp draw is reduced.

When viewing my recorded runs. Im only able to record around 3-3.5 min. I remeber seeing in writing something that said you can get longer record times if your asking for less information. How do you set that up? and can you view other infor if its not recorded. How does this work?

Hello Fellas, just got my hotwire 2.0 and I'm having issues with it. I have the software downloaded and get the green light on the hotwire and the red on the RX8 gen2. When I try to access the RX8 I get a message that states the USB can not be found. Any suggestions? Thanks!

It can record more than that with all streams. Make sure you clear the memory each time you want to get a full recording. This can be done in the Hotwire, or on the esc using the buttons.

To choose less streams simply to go into the data log screen and uncheck which ones you don't want to see. RPM's and Throttle position use the most memory, fyi.

I haven't gotten a chance to try it on a new model, except at the track the day it messed up. Last night I did set the throttle portion to 70/30 instead of the 50/50 and recalibrated. It flashed a few different things but then settles on flashing LED's 1,4, and 7. I couldn't find that code in the manual. It will still move if I take off very slowly. If I squeeze just a little faster, it stops suddenly and faults out.

Default Case screws

Looks like Tekin does not sell the screws for the case without buying a new case. Anyone have spare long screws? I have short ones. Or does anyone have a line on a vendor and size? Thanks

I could only find reference to it in the setup part when you bind your reciever you can choose FHSS-HIGH / FHSS-BLS and some other options.

Edit: I bought a new esc and it's working perfectly (couldn't wait for rma process but I still sent it in). I guess the unit was faulty.
