Not trying to be rude but what is to think about either ur going to stop wetting the track alot n let it be moist or irh isnt gonna do it.

Once i saw don post it i figured he would give it another shot to run treads but im second guessing it.

This has gotten so old. Why does anyone care?

Do you guys really want the place to close? It sure seems that way.

Why would anyone want to have to drive 2+ hours to race because this track closed?

Are any of you going to open up a better track if Island closes?

I agree.. I drive 2 hours to race onroad during the winter on Saturday and 1 hour to run onroad on sundays plus 30 bucks in tolls.. hope you guys just race and enjoy having a track to race at.

Ask the people who don't come anymore. Yes Id rather race 15 mins from home than 2 hours. It has to be questioned to the people who 'gave up' on the track as to why they don't come anymore. Until that is done all this talk about drama, dirt, incentives for racers (regulars or out of towners) or whatever the beef isn't going to solve anything. The reason why people chose to leave and not come back has to be addressed.

Ill tell you that I haven't been there much since Motorama, but Ive been coming back in the recent weeks. I like racing there, I like the guys that I can call my friends and I all in all have a good time. Ill be the first to say that I don't like driving on slicks and I would help with research on how to remedy this and assist in the track change if this is something that would be addressed... but until then I grind down M4s and get on the track.

So Ill see everyone tonite for my racing and 1st punch on my race card!

Not meant towards anyone, just the whole online bickering. Any of this could and should be discussed in PMs or phone calls.

Coming on here just attracts a mob, look at the bottom of the screen for who is online once a touchy subject is brought up.

I havn't been racing lately, but it would be nice for this place to be here when I want too. Regardless of the surface
