Radio Control Hobbies & Raceway - Waterbury, CT.
I wasn't really interested in a B5 but I see Avid is making an aluminum chassis for it. May have to try it now. Avid chassis

I'll probably end up doing that. I've done it before...
Most likely won't be able to make it this Saturday, unfortunately. I'm going to Saugerties on Sunday and would rather not run through a tank and a half of gas driving all over the place. Same thing for next weekend as well. I wish I didn't have this Wednesday meeting that keeps me away from WNW. Just to give you an idea of how long this meeting is, it is scheduled for 2-5pm, which is long enough, but it often goes over time. Way overtime. This week, it ended at almost 8pm. 6 hours in one room grinding through device data...
In other news, I finally got started on the Tekin RC10 Mid Motor build. Gearbox is installed and the funky suspension link assembly is almost done (a little bit of binding that I need to remove). It's an interesting concept, their "active link suspension." The basic idea is to have a full contact patch for the rear tires no matter what the suspension is doing - accelerating, braking, cornering, landing, etc. This is accomplished with an assembly that allows the inner rear ballstud to move with the suspension, basically resulting in dynamic camber gain (if you want to call it that). I'll start posting videos on this soon.
