Get the graphite conversion, the polished hinge pins, the spring set, and the fan kit. Are you going to be running Foam or rubber? If you're going to run foam, try the Losi 0 degree rear hubs, X 2 Deg rear block, and 6 degree front Losi C-Hubs. The other thing I did was to take circle front block and put it on the front of the rear in place of the rear square block. That change takes a little more toe out of the back and frees the rear of the car up too. I went on the cheap for that one though and just bought another set of the plastic mounts for like $5 versus $12-$15 for the aluminum version.

ROAR weight limits don't mean squat for club racing at many local tracks. The lighter you can get the car the better. Xrays and Pro 4's hold a significant advantage in that regard. Big events it's another story (I believe Snowbirds has a lower weight limit than ROAR)

that is really where we're talking about - club racing. 99% of what we race is club racing and that's where the race-bucks are so. . .why should we sacrifice ounces to guys running HPI or XRays?

i dont know whats the big deal about weight or whatever this past weekend i saw this guy racing his bone stock tc4 in expert stock class and that guy was killing ever Fk Xray out there but his competition was a mi2 but he won 1st in the A's

Im not saying anything negative towards a x-ray. I think its a great car, Im just saying that it being a lighter car if its under weight they get to play with the option of placing weight wherever and whenever they want. Most TC4 owners as you will read on here are doing anything and everything to shave weight. What was I pulling out of my a$$, whatever it was, you may want to get whatever is in yours out.

No Real weight Issues with my TC4's...
1480 is the lightest that I have been able to get both of them and that is with GP3300's ,GTX,Ko2343,302F,transponder and most of the FT Option parts ..but the fans and duct ...also this is with a Rayspeed Accord Body that weighted in a 95 grams.....

After doing removing the battery strap and post, I'm clockin' 1483 grams now.... and I should get some more savings when I switch to carbon.... but it'll be damn hard to get the car down to the ROAR minimum for foams.

do you think using the Losi steering knuckles gives better steering on a tight track than say changing the ball stud locations on the TC4 steering knuckles? Our track just got changed up. It's very tight now and I need the steering back.

One thing I see so many top drivers going to soft springs. I never run that soft and I wonder if I'm missing something.

They change the steering feel entering and exsiting the corners. It's a feel thing. I run 4 hubs on my Pro 4 with rubber tires, 0's on my Mi2..uhhh...I think 2's on my 415/Evo 3. It's just another tool to tune your car.

4 would be decent I think. A lot of guys are running 5...How do you ask? 4 degree hubs with 1 degree of kick up at the arms

I haven't tried the AE ones. Sobottka told me to go for the Losi ones because they're supposed to be stronger and less flexy so I did. Barry and Mike looked just fine with their AE ones.
