I got my tracking number today soooo im hoping for midle of next week.....hoping atleast

The bump on the motor side of center brace will have to be sanded down if you a 15t or smaller pinion in order to properly set mesh with the spur gear.

Other than that, its super easy to build. I'm sure someone that has had some more driving time with their truck can give you some tips on the shock and diff oil.
Yeah i have the eb48 as well. Droop screws were the first to go, replaced by AE's, thanks on the toe out. I don't run a ton as well

I am personally running stock pistons, shock oil, and springs still.

I only have one race day on the kit, but it felt good once I changed to the 10/15/5 diff setup.

Just make sure you reinforce the front of your body well and you will be good to go.
Shoe goo and i have a very close relationship lol, thanks for the tip on diff fluids....thanks will be a big on
thanks again you guys

Thanks upfront. I just dont wanna read about 2500 posts
thanks again
Is this your first Tekno ride? If so I think you'll find it amazing right outta the box. Some of the earlier tips the guys gave are good. I've been hearing yellow springs in the rear are a must. Also-guys were saying run a 14mm screw in the rear gearbox instead of a 10mm--helps prevent case breakage. 10/15/5 and 7/10/5 sounding good for a loose track. Some guys liking the Tekno metal spur--I for one will be running metal for outdoors--but this will come down to personal preference. 16-18t pinion is most popular. 2000kv truggy motor on 4s most popular. Run all 3 braces. Don't skimp on cheap servos. Lastly--tires tires tires!!!!
These are just some of the notes I've compiled by reading every page. Our first ET48 comes this Monday (gonna be a long weekend)--so will post additional tips after she's built and running.
Thanks Tekno for making us another awesome platform!!!

No, Not my first Tekno. I got a first run EB48 and picked up a .2 when they came out. I was looking for more of the " Use this fluid or that instead of the what come with it". Ive read about the not so awesome diff shims, how they were fixed...kinda wondered why this didnt just run with the buggy internals on that one. Ive never driven a truggy before, been all buggy.
I bought the 410 on release date and i was really displeased with the stock set, I thought it was horrible. After a couple of months and lots of track time, really came around. Now that setup is the stock setup. Honestly, I just wanted to Grip and Rip. Do the Fine tuning later

i came from mugen to tekno. I have had my eb48 for a while now. The mugens seemed more " stable" on an outdoor track. Indoors teknos are amazing. But after a while of tinkering i found the base .2 setup is pretty darn good. The 15 degree spindle carriers helped alot . I found myself able to turn alot faster laps with the tekno. I still struggle with it a little outdoors but I love it.........now the truggy.....holy @#*& it is amazing! Easy to drive and so much fun. I hate to say it but I wish they made a wider eb48 buggy. The fat ladies are a bit easier to drive lol

Need some advice!i just ordered the et48 with a tekin gen2 rx8 and 2250kv motor.the battery I will be using is a track power 6800.with that being said what will be the best gearing to get the most run time from this set up?reason I'm asking is because I will have to run with the nitros and don't believe I can hang with them for a 20 minute main without a battery swap.any advice would help.

To maximize run time go with a lower kv motor. The 2250 isn't needed. Them add in alot of current limiter into the esc setup. (low number on the current limiter in esc setting)
