Here is what I am running:
Tekin T8 1350
Hobbywing 160 amp xerun esc
6s battery
CSI v port blue pistons
Koyosho springs

Here is what I would like to know:
What diff oils for 6s?
What springs f/r ( koyosho is prefers) if no koyosho then please provide spring rates.
Shock oils with csi blues in mind?
Sway bars?
Any other useful info as far as bump steer, rear toe, etc.....

Please PM me so I receive it and can ask questions privately

Thanks,

As far as the Kyosho springs and CSI pistons, we're not too familiar with all of those options so we can't offer any good advice on those.

Start with the kit settings for the rest and go from there .
Not that it matters as stated; but I have the tekin 1350 w/ hw 150a esc on 6s

I'm running red CSI - running 40wt front stock spring 35wt rear Yellow spring (im sure tekno has the rates listed somewhere)

118 front measurement (center screws t/b) shocks center lower position, #3 top

130 rear measurement (center screws t/b) shocks center lower position, #3 top

Mostly the kit setup I think on bump steer/ackerman; 2over 2 under large side up on ballstud. 4washers over, ballstud down

Stock 2.6 sway bars but I do have a rate lower to swap on if needed

Diff's I like 10/15/5 best but depending on track you may want 10/10/5, with good bite 15/20/7 also is very nice.

I actually looked that up after I saw your picture when you originally posted it, but I couldn't find it on the website. Thanks for the link. Do you find that the bottom (under the chassis) gets snagged and hung up?

I have two different packs from SMC 6s 3400 70c and a 6s 4400 40c, I like the weight of the 4400 best and both feel great for power,, but they don't get all that much more run time vs the 3400 due to the 3400's being better cells.

Na man, dose not go under chassis. It has velcro sewn around the edges, you simply put velcro around the skirting and attach.

I'm gonna check into that!
the et48 body sits pretty snug around chassis, BUT man the sct410 or any Pro4Sc, they throw 2 pounds of dirt into the chassis! Do they have one for the tekno sct?

Hey Guys, I'm getting real close to completing the ET48AWS. Yep, that's All Wheel Steering. I just wanted to see what everyone's thought are on it. I just have a few more things to do to be able to run it. I've got it to have 0 bump steer and everything is super tight...has no steering slop. Everything looks like it's going to work perfect. I'll have more pics in the near future. It may be a couple of weeks before I can run it cause I'm still dealing with snow here. I will have video for you guys when I do get to run it.

Thanks Guys, ya I'm pretty happy with the way it's turning out. I just got done taking it out on the road and ya it worked awesome. I can't wait to run it on the dirt. I'm pretty sure by the test run on the road and on the carpet in the house that it's going to take corners like a million bucks in the dirt. I believe I'm going to be able to be full throttle all the way around the tightest corners and not miss a beat. We will see though. Man I can't wait!

Not really sure, I was kinda curious of that also. My local track is a little more laid back so it wouldn't be a issue.

Technically, ROAR says it would be illegal, but only because you're using 2 servos. If you somehow had front and rear steering with just one servo, it'd be legal.
Which is silly considering they used to allow monster trucks to run dual steering servos, back when we used to race those
I think it could be an awesome setup, I may have to try one out myself. With mixing, I should be able to have the rear steer only when I hit max travel on the wheel, like for a tight 180. All other speeds would be normal steering. Even better would be a little crab steering at speed, definitely worth trying.....
There's a thread on here somewhere where a guy made his TC 4WS, I think he liked it too. I'll try to find it.

From the rule book-
4.1.9 Except in 1/5 scale class vehicles, radio systems are limited to the use of two channels, operating two servos, or a combination of one servo and one electronic speed controller. More than one function is allowed per device, but a servo is limited to one output shaft. Control is limited to forward, brake, and steering. The use of reverse in competition is not allowed. On 1/5 scale vehicles, three channels and more than two servos may be used, but control is limited to forward, brake and steering.

Thanks Matthew!

Ya, the adjustments are endless on different ways you could run the rear steer. The new 4WS radios are awesome. You can also hit a button while on the fly and turn off the rear steer or you could also set up for max travel like you said and then hit the button and have the rear steer being 25% of the front steer.

Got to worn you that there's a couple parts that have to be made, spindle carriers and steering top plate. I still have to make a rear chassis brace. I'll try to post pics today.
