Nice work on the panhard, no more bump steer I assume. Check inside the shock caps if the rubber O ring is in there, or baka flat na yung o ring kung nandun nga. Konti na lang bro, running na yan.

Mix and Dusty
Salamat sa inyo. Well, in theory the panhard should work. :-) masasabi ko greatly reduced ang bump steer. It got me busy yesterday sa shop. Sa likod kaya needed pa rin panhard?

With regards dun sa spokes, i have to reduce the diameter first before threading it. 3.3mm yata ang OD ng spokes.

@karnaugh yes bro. That's a suncon hardshell. Medyo beat-up shell na. Dami kulang na mga parts like door handle etc. Thanks!

Ganda po ng DIY nyo.

May I suggest lang , after many hours of mileage sa SCX10 ko, you might want to consider revising that Shock Mount to have multiple Holes for finetuning Shock height at kung kaya pa extend rearwards para ma anggulo ang Shocks.

After some point in time, you might realize that the vertical shock placement has still room for improvement if adjusted by height and most probably by Angle ( recline, incline ) which will affect crawlability over obstacles.

Again, Ganda po ng output ninyo Sir.

Sir Mix ,

Pano to pang Class 1 ? Usually hummer is classified as Road legal na ina attribute sa Class 1 ?

@VulcanRaven

Appreciate your input on the shock tower options.

I finally did some temporary holder for the electronic parts and was able to play with it outside. Good thing about the pangolin axles, may kasama nang skid plate sa mga axles. Here are some pics.

The Front Panhard Bar (modified mounting bracket at the chassis end)

The H2 without the tires. As you can see, the front axle is upright based on the position of the knuckles. Yung sa rear naman medyo rotated. Alin ang tama?

The Rear Panhard Bar:

@Dax

Me Rear Steering kaba ? If none, then the Castor Angle ng Rear Axle mo I think would only affect Drive Shaft angle.

It might get you caught up in some twigs or rocky protrusions niyan. Binaba pa axle clearance mo.

You have , I think the best stock tires in an SCX10. Marami sa crowd natin favorite yang ripsaws.

@vulcan,

Ok. Understood. Wala ako rear steering. Actually I can lengthen the upper link to make it more upright. Nagputol kasi ako ng linkages to get the 285mm wheelbase. hehehe Although pareho ng haba ang mga alum links sa front and rear, the axles ended up that way. Di ko pa na-analyze kung bakit. hehehe

Good point on the skid plate. Before I wanted to remove it and cut off the standoffs. Kaso, I worry na baka masira ang ilalim ng axle (in time) sa kaka-tama sa mga bato/etc. And i dont think there are shops selling Pangolin spares parts. So for now, im keeping it muna. :-)

Regarding the ripsaw tires, parang ang lambot masyado. Are there any variation na medyo matigas ang compound ng rubber?

thanks!

sir daxbrandy, tama si sir vulcan, dapat makinis yung ilalim ng axle mo para di sasabit sa mga bato, if you want to make a DIY aluminum to protect your pumpkin, may ginawa si sir paul, I think may mga posted pics sya dito sa thread na to for your reference..

regarding tires, mas favorable ang soft compound for crawling ability kasi mas nakaka grab sya and in 1:1 crawling nagbabbawas sila ng hangin for the same purpose at para di tumatalbog, pro line flat iron, pro line super swamper and pitbulls have super soft compunds, ganun din in some rc4wd tires.. that's just my opinion sir..
