Smile 6th Annual TIMEZONE GRAND PRIX, July 17th-20th 2014

Here it is! The 6th Annual "Timezone Grand Prix"! July 17th-20th 2014. The "Woodstock" of RC Racing, with the Soon to be Famous "St. Cyr BBQ", and everything else you've grown to expect from one of the Greatest European styled tracks in the U.S. This year on the mic will be the always entertaining, Charlie Suangka! Mr. Beads himself will be making his first trip to our "Outdoor Paradise" In continuing with the Woodstock theme, TIE-DYE race shirts will be included with your race fee for all that pre-register Included, as always, the "Tri-Tip Saturday Night BBQ", everyone who has been here knows this is worth the trip in itself Hope to see you all again this year!
UPDATE: Patrick Pluard and the Trackside Grill will be returning this year to make sure our bellies will remain full thought the event!

Classes
1/8 Open Nitro

10th Scale Nitro

GT8 (ROAR RULES, level 3) Sweep 50's Spec Tire

Mod Sedan (1380gr) Spec Tire TBD

17.5 Blinky Sedan (1380gr) Spec Tire TBD

21.5 Blinky Scale Spec/VTA (1450gr) HPI D Compound Tires or non belted X-Patterns. 190mm or 200mm. Any Non Global Spec TC body, No Mazda 6's, LTCR, GX etc. Coolness factor a definite Plus!

If you guys were really ready , you would be in L.A. this weekend for the Airtronics grand prix.

Gus and I have been playing with nitro for a few weeks now, my electric stuff has been shoved aside lol mid carpet season.

Should we better define GT rules? Level 2 may differ from person to person depending on how you read them.

I changed it to level 3. So you can use the RTR motors with pullstart attached. 7mm restrictors.

So 5 ports with 7mm restrictors, Control Tire what else can we expect to be teched on?

You trying to find a grey area to work over Just make sure you are within the rules.

No grey area just don't want surprises. We run our cars to match your rules for about a month before we show up there. The better defined the less bs we will have at the track.

I dont know if you have compared your interpretation of the rules with someone else but we have and we are all on different pages. Just want to be straight forward this this this this lets race buddy. Easy mode
