Thanks, I appreciate that. I sent an email to customer support on Saturday with my issue and my address. I'm sure they will respond tomorrow. You might consider calling AMainHobbies and having them throw a pack of shims in the box (they have the shims in stock).

Yes, it will fit. It's covered in SECTION 13.

does he mean ezrun or xerun because both are very different in size.

Just to clarify this a little, the original question is about a Hobbywing EZrun. The ESC that is detailed in earlier posts is the Xerun, a much smaller ESC. I don't think the EZrun will work in the truggy.

Oops, my bad. I didn't even know there was an EZrun 150. The Xerun is very tight and requires modification to make fit. Since the the EZrun is a lot bigger ,my guess is no on the fit.

Soft Subcultures, and soft I beams when real wet, mostly hard and loamy at our track.

Before this issue we did not see any broken bulkheads so we are pretty sure any recent breakage of the bulkhead is related to this issue. Thanks.

Really frustrated with tekno support, not worth it to deal with them over the rear gearbox. You spend 600 on a roller n they want u to pay on the shipping to get it and back.

Any other company I've dealt with takes care of it expescially if it's not your mess up. Anyone want to buy a et48?

Yep I was confused. Easy to do with all the esc's hobbywing makes. It even seems like the original posters are getting the ezrun confused with the xerun. Hope to trade the ezrun out with a friend for his hobbywing sct esc/xerun.

Hard to believe that you are having problems with them. You are the first that I have read to be having problems with them. They have always went out of their way (for me any way) to make sure that I was taken care of and have not had to pay any shipping for something that was their mistake what ever it was. Sorry to hear this. Dont give up on them they are a great company and make great products. Hang in there.

"pay shipping to get it and back?" Do you want to send them your built car and have them replace it for you? I have used tekno support just yesterday, emailed them about an issue and they sent out replacement parts, free of charge, internationally, no questions asked. Already posted with a tracking number.

What was your exact problem? It seems very strange that they're asking you to pay for anything that is a known issue with one run of parts. Especially when noone else has had to pay for it.

I had heard this over and over (particular in relation to castle ESCs) and was pretty worried, I'm having pretty good luck so far

I got the 1271SG. Running through a mamba monster 2 internal BEC running at 7V. Other specs are 2200kv castle motor, futaba R603FF, turnigy 20C 4s 5800mah lipo, 15T pinion.

I got the servo from eBay and it came with a racers edge glitch buster cap. I used it because even castle support themselves said that the savox are so inefficient that I would need an external BEC. I haven't tried it without the glitch buster, but I've had zero issue so far. This was so much to my surprise so I'm stoked, because I cbf wiring up a separate BEC.

I don't understand why I would get a hitec that costs 3x the price with half the rated speed/torque...It's probably one of those things like I haven't experienced the ultimate quality yet, so I don't understand. But is it really worth that much more?!

If I had my time over, I would've got a stronger servo. This one is OK, but once those big wheels get some rpm I could use a little more torque!

The Futaba radios don't brown out as easily as some other so you shouldn't have any issues. I run Savox servos with my Airtronics radios and have never even needed a glitch buster. They are good servos.
