Ok I already posted the pics of the center with what showed no wear. Well here are the front and rear with definate wear problems. No damage but there would have been. The pictures on the left are front diff before and after cleaning and the ones on the right are the rear. There was for more damage to the rear shims. Tekno if you want these shims I will send them to you. I am going back to the center for closer inspection.

If anyone is looking for a quick fix the losi 8ight line internal diff shim is also a direct replacement if the tekno buggy are not in stock.

So i just did a little test with my new setup, T8 1550 + Thunderpower 70C 3850mah 6S.

Geared 14/44 for a theorytical 42MPH / 67KMH.

First off all truck is now around 4.3KG.

Second: it's really smooth but stupid powerfull/fast.

Third: everything is now too soft, have 10/15/5 in my diff's and i hate it.

also need stiffer springs i think, it just moves around too much with the green's too be stable.

What kind of and how big is the track you're using? What oil weights are you planning on changing too?

I can't say much yet.

Tracks over here are sandy topsoil where i race 1/10 and there are some bigger tracks with a less sandy topsoil but i haven't been there yet.

Testing on pavement right now with bald tires, traction is not exact but close enough to give a good indication.

Weather is still a little wet to go offroad.

15/20/7 feels great even on a blown out track (15/15/7 is ok as well), yellow springs on the rear is a MUST have, stock front work pretty good. I'm very happy w/ red v-port pistons, but the stock pistons didn't feel great imo.

I don't understand why there isn't spacers behind the spider gears in the diffs. Wont the gears tear into the plastic case without them???

Nope, no issue with that at all. I have had the diffs apart in my EB48 more times than I can count and there are never any wear marks at all on the cases where the gears rub.

what shock position's do you use?

i was thinking to go back to 20/20/10 and re-start tuning.

coming form the lighter less powerfull setup it may be best to just being from 0 again.
