It's an HPI body made for the T and E Maxx trucks, as well as the Savage. Black with flames and a little chrome??!! It wouldn't be competitive, but it would look good doing it!

I feel like using a wgt body is kind of against the spirit if the class. Those bodies aren't very realistic to me. And hacking it up to make it fit just seems wrong.
He seems to be within the current set of rules. I guess the question is, did he win? If it's not giving him an unfair advantage then let him run. If it is, well maybe the body rules should be tweaked to eliminate body shells made specifically for pan cars. Or any body that isn't based on an actual real world car.

Which Mazda prototype body? The furai? Didn't they make an actual race version of that car?

I like the furai body. At least it looks like the actual car did. However, I don't think you should be allowed to used any body if you have to cut it around the shock towers. Use a different chassis with shorty shocks or laid down shocks if you have to.

The Furai was a working prototype. It was never raced and never saw production. It was never a GT class car in real life.

Really simple. All these non-Roar bodies below are made to fit on a SEDAN chassis... WGT, F1, B4 Punisher bodies are NOT sedan chassis bodies.

In spite of the fact that the Furai was a prototype that never saw competition, RobK did specifically approve the Speed Passion version of the Furai. I'll have to search back through the thread to find the post.

Oh, no need. We know it's legal for the class. Some of us just aren't a big fan of that decision.
