Yawns... avid chassis + gear diffs...
Somebody wake me when they flip the center diff/motor around to driver rear and use a shorty pack on the passenger side and mount the esc behind the motor on the left.

Here is the beginning. I am planning to build a 4wd version soon. Just need to refine the position of the center diff. This current version is not back far enough.
I don't have gear diffs so can't help there. The Durango diff mod is what most of the team drivers seem to be using.

The only possibility to know sure is to test a B44 once with big bore and once with smallbore. But for high jumps it's better bigbore i think.

You could run more pack (smaller piston holes with slightly lighter weight oil). That would give you a bit more "high speed compression" damping but similar low speed feel and handling. The caveat is that on your blown out track it might hoppity hop a little bit where the track is pretty rough.

yeah, many of the jumps have very short landings, so its pretty easy to over shoot. Plus they are designed for 17.5 short course to clear, so thats like 1/4 throttle for me, lol. I find it difficult to go slow with this car.

I have found 2 ways to do this.
1. Don't flat land
This is not always possible (jump to table top, large step down, jump to flat that you don't want to/can't roll, etc...).2. Make the car so stiff it sucks every where else
, unless the track is REALLY high traction (fresh sugar, carpet, astro).

lol, yeah. I just need to get my timing down. I can downside everything in 17.5. but going from 17.5 buggy right into the b44.2 with an 8.5, is dramatic for sure, lol. those classes were back to back last weekend.
Another question. i was watching the slipper setting video. And I remembered someone say my slipper was really loose in the pictures I posted. And I can confirm that the blue slipper adjuster is all the way forward. so, I did his test, were he put a hex in the pinion to bind it and tried to get the slipper to slip....no go. so I put the car on the carpet and blipped the throttle, no squeal from the slipper. So before I disassemble the car and look at it, what is likely the cause? glazed pads are stuck?

Baby's have extra pack over the big bore.
pack helps on the jumps & landings yeah know

Also
Baby's are lighter this helps on the jumps and the chassis roll.
Just trying to inform baby bore don't just bring more responsive handling.
They also jump better.

only one driver (barry baker) running the .1 from pics/results i've seen. he finished 24th out of 30 for invite drivers...with finishes between 8-10 in the rounds he ran. From all indications so far, everyone else was running AVID chassis. (BB is no slouch of a driver, so it could easily be inferred that the .1 chassis held him back!) And v2's? being better all around than BB's?!!! lmfao! Would love to see some PROOF of someone inside of the top 100 drivers running v2's lololol. WC sure does have some good ol stories though!
I also don't see any of the trcr fast guys on any a-main or b-main sheet. I see Luke Smith, but I do believe he calls Bremerton his home.
On to the next Wild "2 laps down" Cherry fairy tale!! lolol

Will try to be patient and give you break just cuz your from the Nw.
You have no clue
1st
You fail to mention Andy D making the A (2w)
Also fail to mention Luke just miss the bump into the A (2w)
Keep in mind just attempting to spin your negative in a positive.
