Maybe i should do the o-ring mod and see how it goes. I definitely going to try the RPM arm but are backorder. Cheers...

I didnt notice a performance drop from the b44.2 arms to the RPMs. But the difference in durability was huge. I can drive with much much more confidence.

surprised there isn't pages and pages of chassis talk after the Reedy race! I was watching for the "teamates" all weekend and the only names I noticed, were way down in the bottom of the mains. looks like the magic setup advice that the wizard gives out like gospel only works at the mythical TRCR? things that make you go hmmmm....

I would expect to see some cav or maifield setups. I suspect they will be running the alum short chassis. Most of the team drivers appear to be. My "guess" is that this is what the b44.3 will have. I doubt they will retool the b44 to metric like the b5 this year.

Ive been looking all over for some good underbody shots of the AE cars and haven't found anything good so far.

Looks like liveRC has some decent shots of cars with bodies off. I can only see 1 FOR SURE, b44.1....and it looks like several of the others I see are running B44.2 hardware (slipper area is .2, top decks are .2, battery trays are .2...) and those cars appear to be running a black aluminum chassis. I know that for the Worlds, lots of drivers painted their AVID chassis black, I see no indication that these guys are running anything different?

lots of people "say" they are running some short alum. chassis, but all the pics I ever see from events look like black/normal AVID chassis. Anyone have proof (pics) of this mythical short alum. chassis that's supposed to be on everyone's cars???

Yeah, I was looking for pics and asking people to take a look but I haven't had any confirmation yet either.

Here's a pic of Barry Baker's car and it looks to have the 44.1 chassis.

Did I tell you guys their trying baby bores as well ?

Big bore has less pack and makes the car feel lazy.

What ever........

on the other hand small bores make the car more nervous to drive and less concistent.....blablabla, it's personal ....

for me the B44.2 with 2mm shortarm mod. just perfect

This is a .1. Nothing fancy, just a plain .1. No indication of the shocks though.

p.s. I see he is running Airtronics/Sanwa radio & servo. Does anybody know if he is running the Sanwa ESC? Or, has anyone ever used the Sanwa ESC?

This is a full .2 with everything that normally comes with it. He is running the Avid chassis, & JC center cap & battery straps.

Not personal, more like which performs better on the track.

44.1 already plenty of stability with the baby bores already.
Big Bore adds even more and really is not necessary.
