Yes, they do. It is their biggest class and most times, the only class that is raced some race days. I think they have the most active, current GT racing class in the Western Hemisphere for any one track. Mexico City use to hold that mark but I believe GT/nitro racing has died off or is very scarsely run there now.

That would be awesome, we used to have races with the Dominican Republic a few years ago and I'm sure some of the guys will be willing to travel to Curaçao as well. I'm not racing much since last year but some of the more active guys surely can plan something. Our group is about 20 to 30 each race day with many more that are not competing every race. With special races growing a bit more.

Last race with the new layout the TQ was 17/7:15.919 and the fastest lap was 24.365s. The canges to the layout slowed down the cars a bit but not that much.

Thumbs up

Great nice to hear that! That's a nice video! Don't leave it to just awesome, still 103 days to go before our race! Plenty of planning room . We would be honored to have you guys participate in the next Open Invitational race (the 15th edition). Maxy Velasco will be racing to!!

I will be contacting you via pm with more information.

Nice video Jneg!

I would love to visit Puerto Rico and race at that track one day.

In the meantime i got some pictures from the president of our club, don't know if you guys can recognize the guy in the white shirt "Fernando Mendez" from Puerto Rico and the president of CRCCDA Giordano Pieternella from Curacao with the NAPA cap, picture was taken during the Winternats 2009.

I leave you guys with a video of our last year's Open Invitational 2013:

(I have not reached yet the amount of posts to allow me to post URLs) But feel free to search "CRCCDA 2014 XV Open Invitational Trailer" on youtube to get a taste of our Open Invitational races

Have fun! I've gotten to know some
of the P.R. Racers through the years. They travel to some of the Florida races and always compete hard and have lots of fun!! I'll get down to Barceloneta one day!
