NEW HOBBYWING STOCK SUPERCHARGED SOFTWARE
Not a software question, but how to do you attach the cooling fan to the heatsink of an Xtreme Stock ESC
? I can't see any holes where the screws would screw into, and am a little stumped (and a lot tired)
Thanks

Punch control 7
Unplugging the sensor wire did not fix it, but it seems worse with the wire plugged in.
I ran it on punch control 1 (worse)
I ran it on punch control 9 (better but still not OK)
I will go check my other car and post back.
On edit, the other car was missing the sensor cable. HOW that is possible I don't know. I'm going to change the cable on the other car and I'll post back if that fixes it.
On reedit - hey, guess what? Sensor cable.
I'm all good now, thank you for your help!

yes would just be blinky 17.5 , but would like the option to toss it in maybe a 2wd sc truck with maybe a 8.5 or something. and i also just like that it uses the case like the 3.1 found soe on ebay though

Punch rate switch point DOES NOT affect the amount of punch, simply where the punch rates switch over in the throttle travel.
As an example;
With a first punch rate of 20, and second punch rate of 30, and a switch point of 50%, in the first half of the throttle travel the punch rate will be 20, in the second half it will be 30.
From this, if you set both punch rates the same, the switch point doesn't matter. So with stock at 30/30.. Won't matter where you run the switch point.
This setting is aimed more for modified users, where having a lower punch rate at the start of the throttle travel in beneficial, whilst still maintaing good punch when further up the throttle travel (which is normally at higher speed). For example, with 4.5t I tend to run 10-12 on the first rate, and 14-16 on the second rate, and keep the switch point at 50%, and this gives a nice smooth bottom end, and good mid speed corner punch.
Regards
Ed

In 1/12 17.5 I move Punch rate switch point down to a single digit. Both 1st and 2nd punch rates set to highest setting of 30. Since 1/12 has tons of traction you want everything you can get.

Hello,
I need to get my HW 120 ampXERUN 2.1 ESC serviced, I accidently plugged my battery backwards just for a second, it still works but now there's a cogging affect going on when you first hit the throttle, tried another motor and sensor wire and still happening.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
thanks in advance!
