Default why is red light staying on?

Noob needs some answer here, i have 2wd drive stampede w/ EZrun 60A brushless i bought used, has a 1500mah 6 cell nimh in it, just got my charger today went thru steps on charging, seem to do ok, i plug it up to truck and its showing a sustained red light. i don't see nothing on ezrun manual on this, i read on this forum about red light flashing, and could be low battery, but thats not the case here. and can esc reset if you press the button, yep i did without reading 1st. appreciate any info.

I don't have any experience with the EZ run system. the only thing I could think of is the red light steady light is an indicator for low voltage being disabled. I know for a fact that that's the case with my son's slash esc.

Does the truck run? Or are you just worried about a "red light"?

I've seen on a few ESC's the red light is for nihm mode and green is for lipo. This may or may not be the case here. Re-calibrate according to the instructions and see if the truck actually runs.

I dunno, I'd be more worried if NO lights came on....

Default yeah it runs

i feel foolish i plugged wire back in wrong, but I've been having trouble with the power on this thing, i hope it is just the battery, (got a 2S lipo 4000 on order), also have anybody ever had problems with rear driveshaft not stayin secure, tighten the set screws till i almost bend allen wrench, and it still spun off.

There should be a flat spot on the out drive that you have to line up the set screw with. If you don't line it up with that it will just spin under power.
Here is a pic of the tranny you can see where the flat spot is that you have to line it up with.
