Carbon fiber parts worth it, weight wise?

Any suggestions on lighter 4s batteries?

I am no expert, but stiffer springs (black in back, white in front) with stock shock fluids helped me a lot. The high bite forces you into a more technical driving style, so u need more response, dont want to be sagging all over the place. Part of this is because indoor tends to be smaller/turnier as well. Also smoother tires, harder compound. Harder braking (if you run electric).

So I pulled the trigger on a used 8 2.0 Euro E conversion for $475. It has Tekin T8 1900 and RX8. Two batteries, radio and ready to go.

What are the common TLR upgrades and what is a good setup sheet to emulate here on hot florida outdoor tracks with big jumps, some loose sand in the corners and hard pack underneath?

I want to get the car set up just right before putting it under the xmas tree

This is the setup that I am using currently, this is also the recommended setup for the EU as a nitro, The only difference with mine is the rear diff is 3k instead of 2k. Drakes is also really good too. You can get both setups from the website too.

Yes, that is what I use. You don't have to have that metal piece that GOES WITH with the plastic gear. It will be a bit noisier.
