well...I am sidelined until I can get the new RPM arms. I am breaking the stock ones weekly, Off light taps of the pipes. I am sure the cool temps are not helping either. I was going to do the oring mod, but meh, I will just wait 2 weeks for the new arms.

Red pad in the middle is very nice. You need that Avid center brace now to finish it off.

Do you have a part number for the arms?

Default Pinion Gear settings

Hi guys, I'm still building my B44.2 as unavailable parts from online websites start making their way to my doorstep.

I just got my Reedy 6.5 motor in today. I wanted to ask, do you guys have a recommended pinion gear setup for this fast motor? I imagine the pinion gear set that came with the kit won't suffice so before I place another online order I thought I'd ask the pro's

Thank you in advance!

Depending on the track I use a 81 spur and a 18 pinion

6.5 is a bit much for indoor tracks....
To answer your question however, I would start at 18/81.

Thank you! Yeah, this car will see mostly dirt (outdoors). I will need some road tires and off-road tires to test things out. Forgive my ignorance but do I just search for 12mm hex head wheels/tires?

Only 12mm hex rear wheels. Front wheels are different. Look for B44 specific front wheels. Many companies will list in the description if the wheels fit the B44 front. All 3 evolutions of the B44 have used the same front hex.
