The car needs nothing. My car was box stock until I won a JC giftcard (I purchased the steering rack). Hell, my ballast weight is still in the package.
Just drive it. The only thing you have to worry about is the arms, and hinge pins.
The stock shock setup is great everywhere I've traveled. I laid down the front shocks, went forward on the ackerman, and shortened the front camber link. I think that's all I've done, and the car is great. The beauty of the 44 is that once you find a setup that works for you, it almost works everywhere.

Yep... nothing at all needed for strength. For tuning all i have bought is the ballast (running 1/2 balast cut length wise) and green rear springs but thats all I put into it over the past year. I jsut replaced the wing mount with another stock one, it was fine but I ran the screws in a little too much and the holes got a little mushy so thats the only reason I replaced.
I put the JC rack in becasue I slammed a wall being stupid without a warm up and broke the arm off the bell cranks that the steerring links connects to. I have ran that locked down and CA'd no servo saver from pretty much day one.
I have gone thourgh one rear arm and about 4 front arms in the past year.
Have no fear and drive it hard

Cus how you look is so more important then how fast you really go ...

so, I was missing 2 acrews in the center cap...this allowed the flex for it to pop out. Like all AE cars, it had a metric crap ton of steering. It lands like a brick and looks under dampened. I assume I need to go up in oils.

Default Associated B44.2 Thread
Just picked up a .2 Roller. I am considered to be a good 2WD SCT & 2WD Buggy driver. I can also hold my own in 4WD SCT. The 4WD Buggy is entirely new to me so any advice will be appreciated. A friend of mine said the 44.2 is similar to the SC10 4x4, but different. LOL.
I am looking to run a 6.5T motor or should I start higher like an 8.5 or 10.5. What spurs and pinions? I hear it's ready right out of the box. Also advise me on spares cause I know I am going to need them. Thanks in advance.

Oil too much thicker and I'm not sure it will handle well unless your changing the piston holes but then you'll lose pack.
I run kit setup that was from testing at a local clay indoor track for the most part with green spring and 32.5 oil in the rear, 1.5 washers under the inner rear ballstud as the changes. Lands great IMO as long as your downsiding. Land a big one flat and the carbon makes a slap sound something fierce. Makes you want to downside every time

Are you driving on a outdoor track?

and lots of tires
I couldn't do it. I like upgrading.
