It fits on the front of an IFS nicely.
The rear tower has to be modified or body slotted.
I am opting for a modified tower.

If I ran any Datsun it would be a 510 :P
Get the ABC Hobbies Hakosuka body. looks like a 510, but its a skyline!

The furai fits just fine on a T4 with no mods...

I'm still watching ABC and hoping to get an RX3 body.
Thanks for the info on the 510 impersonator, Dave.

Hey guys, decided to toss my hat in the USGT ring, got a 21.5 motor on the way, pretty much have all the electronics and what will be legal here tires (Xpatterns), anyway, I need to order a body.

I basically want something cheap and durable. Going to order from Amain to see if I can get it fast as the race is next week saturday.

Any suggestions?

Also, in a pinch, I know this is frowned upon, but in a pinch is it okay to use a VTA style body? I get that impression from the rules but could be wrong.

I've had very good luck with the HPI BMW GTR (190mm). Several other locals are running them now and liking them, as well. And no problem running a VTA body!

cool how is the handling on the corvette? This would be on a tighter small indoor carpet track.

Also, the "decals" shown, are those included with the body?

So...........where'd you get the decals for the Vette? I want to do a tribute to the 2013 Corvette ALMS team and those skulls would be awesome.

Get you a set of these wheels to go along with the body. I ordered a set from RaceVTA friday and got them in monday, very fast shipping! This style wheel looks like the Z06 wheels of that era. They have a gloss finish on the face, virtually no casting flash to have to clean off either, well built wheels imo. I plan on ordering the Vette body this friday myself.

what is a good starting point for fdr in usgt, let's say on a 90ft track? I plan on running a '12 xray w/ a 96t spur. I will be running either the usgt spec tires or the hpi treaded tires.

thanks

Depending on motor, rotor and timing package, 48-50 tooth. Ratios will be 3.80-3.64.

Snowy.
