Yea I talked Johnny deck into it haha! He's killing it too. I wish I didn't cuz now he beats me
he's been driving 4xSC for a while now, and he is super stoked on the buggy. 5.9 just keep driving as much as possible. It's track time, your on your way

Heys guys just finished my build and about to install my motor and all my electronics .
Looking for some advice . Im going to start off with running a Reedy 8.5 Turn motor .
( not sure if this will make a difference but I am running gear diffs in my buggy)
What is a good starting point for a pinion ? Using the kit spur 81T
Let me know what you guys suggest or are using .
Thanks in advance

Exactly. Just built a brand new kit and ran it for the first time yesterday. Broke 2 ballcups and popped off another. Just want to get the best product to solve this problem for next weekend. I like the idea of the JConcepts ballcups with the hole in them so you can unscrew the ballstud instead of poping it off if you need to tighten or loosen your diff. Car drove great otherwise.

I used to run the rpm cups & really liked them. I picked up the JC cups to give them a try. I had issues when I first tried them because I put the bent cups on the inside rear for extra clearance around the bb shocks. That did not work at all. Once I found out that was the problem & put the bent cups on the out side rear I haven't had any pop offs since. Either are great choices, but the JC cups have the holes & come with enough in 1 kit for 2 vehicles with extras.
To adjust the dif, look on the 1st page for the video about the handy dif tool. This will allow you to adjust your dif (front & rear) without removing any cups. It also can be used to remove the inside camber link ball studs easily plus it can be used to set you slipper. This is a tool that EVERYONE with a b44 needs to have in their tool box.

OK got a question about the shock pistons
I have been running 1.6 front 1.7 rear With stock springs.
For oil I was running 35 front and 32.5 rear.
This past weekend I went to 45 front and 40 rear cause off the chassis roll in the turns and it helped it out a lot!!!!! I went from high 16 second laps to low 16.1-16.2 laps. What would the difference be in shock pistons if I was to change to 1.5 front and 1.6 rears?? Is changing from 1.6 to 1.5 like 5lbs in oil weight?? Traction is very high and smooth track.
