Drove wbx6r and stayed on my lid and cut off brfore i got to it (killed 14.8v starter battery trying to practice) so ended up with serpent 811 1.0 . Slowly converting it to 2.0 (lack 6 gears). Big money pit. Now ready to get my first real kit in a box. No upgrades required. Probaly the best move i'll ever make.
I wont knock "The Car" but that 6R is dialed out of the box and I can only imagine what the 7R is like. I would agree whole heartily if you said you spent alot time on your lid with an RC8.2, that I hated.

I was ready to pull the trigger on The Yellow Pre Season, but then realized I needed more then just the basics, so I opted out of that. Id like to try the White Edition but I have a hard time letting go of my 6R.

Definitely check out the REDS engines. I'd rank them between the Nova and OS for smoothness and power delivery. Smoother than an OS but heaps more power than a Nova.

The x7 is nice, I still have my x6r, but I am going to get a white edition.

Alpha Dragon or Lutz v2 or even lutz v3... extremely easy to tune engines.

The 6R is very very very good!! The MBX7 is a LOT different, and is a lot more "racers" car. I bought two MBX7 and sold them after 8 liters and bought Xray. I did not stand a chance in hell to be fast With the MBX7, it is to agressive, to fast, and nervous for me. I just did not cope With that car. I was faster With the 6. not in outright pace over a lap but over 5 minutes and a main, alot.

I am actually intrigued by the WE, and look forward to here what People are saing about this car.

If you think the 6r is a good car for you, you will be disapointed With MBX7...I think Mugen did og the wrong way With MBX7

Well, that seems to be where I'm at. Outdoors I liked the Losi 3.0. Seemed to be a good car, aggressive but yet east to handle without burning up your brain. Now that we have gone indoors for the winter months, I have struggled. I simply can't drive the car in the same manner as I did outdoors. If I could be consistent, I would turn some good times but I haven't gotten there yet.

it seems that some maufacturer going back from super responsive/aggressive cars to more dialed and stable AND THATS VERY GOOD!
i´m really excited how theory in THE 3 Videos turn in reality.
jq´s car looked super smooth and fast @ asti where some driving scenes in the Videos were made.

Greg, thats why i got an Xray. It was just so easy to drive. Ok, so it lacks a bit steering sometimes, but still i made 4th in Our Nats this year so it was not that bad:-)

If Joes car is up the same alley as XB13 or MP9, there is quite a possibilty that i might test this car next spring :-) I am also looking at the New Xray that will be out, but i am a little afraid that they will do the same thing as Mugen, and og to much racecar...

I wonder if theres any problem with the throttle servo overheating? The first cobra 811 had the same reciever tray setup and kept burning up throttle servos.

and more in front
with the Serpent it was just under and near the engine:

Thank you sir for the correction. I just remember like the first 300 pages on rctech(811 1.0) about this problem. You've been a big help and i'm still intersted in the white edition.
