The Go's came with the Tin coating for a while. It actually worked out pretty good, about 2x the life. This one must have gotten some dirt in it at some time.

Here is a S852 i just got back from rex. He machined the snout for the nova caps. They fit sooo much nicer and tighter than trying to use alpha caps on a unmachined alpha block.

As you can see, rex does a professional job and would not hesitate to have this done again. More than pleased

hey i have a quick question i have a motor i have not ran for a about a year and a half. i always put oil in it like every couple of month and rolled over the fly wheel to lube it up. i went to race the monster truck class to find out the engine sucked bad. i ended up changing the fuel lines and tank. to get it to run somewhat then somewhere in the race my filter came off in a hit in the air and i landed top side engine died before i hit the ground good thing. so i hit the bench looking at the carb and i had some dirt in it. so i called it a day with that class. just pulled it all out cleaned it all up put the cam back in it and the front bearing seal pop right out. now i thinking it need a new front bearing re did all the rings and lube it all up real good. run alot better now but it still sucking up air and running lean some how every now and then. so you think it the front bearing did not get lube up good enough. i can just turn the fly by hand and the piston come right out i so i know it not that part.

You just popped the seal on the front bearing back in? It probably needs a new front bearing. What kind of egnine is it?

Congrats to Stanley for taking 2nd at the Indonesian National Race #4 with his Rw modified Os Speed spec 2!!

Usually this time of year things start thinning out, still getting resize orders but mostly engine rebuilds and modifying. Keep sending the engines!

Just to say REX helped me out again.

I don't want to start a new thread for this.

Any one knows where I can get parts for this motor a buddy of mine has one but needs a button and head for it. The p/s is new rod new crank new he missed placed it before he went to Iraq

MAX-21VZ-B(P) Model: 13886

Rex found me a new head and shims and Button for this motor.

For a very very Fair price.

Thank you for your time and work on this for me sir.

The Only engines I have listed as Race prepped are the Trackstar. They are not broken in, I actually give them a bit of a pinch because they come with no pinch at all new. They are lightly modded and checked over also.

10% off all engines until Oct. 27 and free lapping on any engine to help break in!!
I also will be unable to service any engine the first half of November.

The Fx has plenty of low end, it would pick up in the middle and give it alot more top end. Depends on if it was for a Truggy or buggy. It will increase runtime but every driver is different. I would recommend the Fx 2108 but there are plenty of other pipes that will work also.

What have you found the differences to be between the 2108 and 2100? The 2100 looks like a nova 9901 and the 2108 looks like an os2090 to me anyway.

I have not tried the 2100, it was not available when I ordered my Fx engines. I do not like to go by the way a pipe looks, the internals can be so much different also. Hudy put out a nice pipe chart.
