SC10 4x4 Thread
Thanks Cain, I will be running on a couple of outdoor 1/8 tracks. Some very loose conditions sometimes on non-race/practice days. I'd really appreciate any setups you have.
I bought the VTX8 for the ease of adjustment and the PRO4 HD knowing I will be moving to a different chassis later. Running TP Pro Race stick packs so should be fine there.
I can make the Exotek hub carriers and front locker happen easy enough. Would get the Exotek chassis if I found the right deal. Don't want to invest in a new one at this point.

I ended up going back to (after new chassis) forward saddles.
Seen weight added next to spur to help offset the 550 motors extra weight ...
Some add 1oz on the back side of the saddle pack & also seen 1/2 oz on the front corners of the chassis behind the servo ..
Most of the team adds weight on both sides of the servo , up to 2 1/2 oz on each side ...
Tie fishing line to both towers and pick it up at the center. Not as precise as scales but then again you need solid shafts to replace the shocks to get chassis weights. Shocks on is suspension corner balance after you have balanced the chassis.
Raining hard here in Tacompton .......
OMW to track to enjoy my Lite Sc10 4x4 set-up...
Drives & performs like a dream ......
Why does it drive so good ?
VTS QUAD PAD SLIPPER lays down every bit of my Reedy Sonic 550 4.5 power to the track ....

lol.
Heck, I am curious though if AE will release a light setup of the SC10 4x4 in the future. When I talked to a rep there, the initial impression I got was the SC10 4x4 for indoors where it shines, and maybe a 1/8 based one (no slipper though was mentioned
) for outdoor tracks where 1/8 based vehicles like the Tekno and Losi shine.
Maybe they could really run with it?
