Like the rear skid plate this one will be made from .048" (1.2mm) 304 SS plate. The front skid will extend back over both sets of diff case screws to the point where the chassis is bent for the front kick.

The front skid plates will be $24 each and should be available in about 2 weeks. They will be added to the web store shortly for those of you that would like to pre-order.

Thanks,

Chris

When i had my EB48 I used a plastic rear skid and in one weekend at the hotrod shootout it nearly wore all the way to the screws....

If I had it to do all over again I would definitely go stainless.......

Chris do you make these for the MP9?

I don't, but I could. I've been thinking about producing for some of the more popular cars.

Default Tekno RC dominates the PRO4 and 1/8th E-Buggy in SoCal's racing scene

The Tekno RC team has had a busy weekend here in southern California attending both Round 6 of the JBRL and Round 4 of the Top Notch Series. Rainman's Hobby and Raceway was host to the JBRL where Tekno driver Barry Baker drove to a well deserved first place finish with his Tekno SCT410. In the 1/8th buggy class Tekno driver Chris Blais had a flawless first place finish with his Tekno EB48. Chris was followed closely by his brother and fellow Tekno driver Nick Blais placing in a respectable 3rd.

The Top Notch series was held at San Diego RC Raceway and had a great turnout. Running his Tekno SCT410, Tekno team driver Josh Bertrand was able to take a strong 1st place finish. In the 1/8 buggy class Josh was able to pull off yet another victory followed by Tekno team manager Matt Wolter in 2nd. Tekno RC looks forward racing to racing with you again soon.

I just tried them today, outdoor, rough, large jumps. I used the stock springs and Losi 35, to me the car was the best it's ever been. Hope that helps.

Tekno-

Where can we find the new EB48.2 Box/Stock Setup? I would like to see what changes are suggested vs. the original.

Thanks!

THe EB48.2 shocks are:
TKR6035-pink front
TKR6034- red rear

Dont believe they changed the pistons but they did change the shock cartridges and shock bushings (TKR6008)

An FYI to anyone interested - Amain has the Kyosho Lt.Blue/Orange springs in stock as of this morning.

I'm still looking for the (TKR5013B) +1.5 rear brace if anyone knows where to find one...
