Is there a reason nobody puts grub screws at some of the other hinge pins? Like in the front bulkhead or caster blocks?

Granted they are plastic so maybe people are just worried about them breaking but it seems like it would make it so only one part wears out instead of multiple and you'd also potentially limit the amount of friction but forcing all the rotation to to place on the arms.

there was a guy in here that did it. nothing stopping you. I replace parts when they break or strip. I have never felt the need to grub screw all of my pins

I'd just never heard mention of it. Didn't know if it was a big no-no for some reason. It might be easier to just replace the parts as most of the plastic isn't that pricey. It seems more worthwhile in the Al parts for longevity.

I got my JConcepts ball cup set in the mail today. I have to say, these are very nice! Plus the angled ones to clear the rear big bore springs are a pretty awesome idea. Well worth the price.

Yes, and no rub, but I kept one .06 washer on the lower shock mount to be sure. The elbowed cup does come very close to the gear cover when I move the arm, but I can't tell if it is rubbing while driving due to flex.

A hub, non shaved, 2 inner ballstud washers, no shock washers, JC cups hit gear cover slightly at top (bottom?) of stroke.

If you run a standard turnbuckle with the JC ends, I'm sure it'll clear just fine. If you run the JC turnbuckles I would use .060 on the bottom shock screw.

They are garbage dont waste your money. I use chapstick on the threads of my cups and they still pop when adjusting. I lost 3 ballcups racing saturday and 2 on wed. I lost one ballcup just overshooting the tripple and landing in the flat. I did take them off once or twice to adjust diff and inner washers stuff like that. They felt a lot tighter when first assembled but after removing them a couple times they felt really loose. The front ballcups never popped but I never removed them either.

On the plus side they do clearence the turn buckle enough to run hubs forward, no washer on shock eyelet and no rubbing.

I am working on the buggy tonight rebuilding them with trusty RPM's. I will deal with the shock rubbing a different way. I cant remember the last time I lost an RPM cup honestly.
